We will soon be expanding the goat pen to a greater length. A few of the new pens being built will be the buck pen, feeder pen, fair pen and the large regular pen. We will also be putting in a new automatic watering system.

Problems With The Site

We have had some guest book problems. If you signed the guest book before January 14, 2008 please sign again.

Weather

Nice weather all week! Looks like the heat is coming in like ants on a nice day.
Additions to The Family

I purchased my market wether for the Mother Lode Fair. He weighs 77lb. which is the weight of my one year old wether! This big boy was born the middle of November.


I have just purchased my new Akbosh livestock guardian dog. Dully is a great pup who is willing to learn and bond with the goats. He is currently 3 months old.


We had our first kids, triplets, on March 1st. Two days after that came our last set, a pair of twins. They are great kids that had an average birth weight of 10lb. All of the kids were does except two nice bucks. One is now a wether who we are going to sell. All my does will now be breed in October for 2009 kids. We will have pictures of the new additions soon on the for sale page and the goat page.

Up Coming Shows

Calaveras County Fair: May 14th-May 17th 2008. I am not positive I will attend the Calaveras County Fair with my goats.
Mother Lode Fair: June 26-June29 2008. I will be participating at the Mother Lode Fair with my breeding does and possibly a meat goat.

Both of these shows are 4-H, FFA, Grange shows.
